iOS 15 Seems To Have Broken Stadia’s Streaming
Since information technology would be too troublesome and most unrealistic to expect streaming service providers to comply with Apple'due south App Store rules, many have found a workaround and that is by making the streaming service compatible with Safari, Apple's mobile browser. This means that iOS device owners can stream games on their phones and developers don't need to give into Apple's demands.
Information technology sounds like a win-win situation, but unfortunately information technology looks like at least for Google Stadia, the iOS fifteen update seems to have cleaved it. According to a post on Reddit, a Stadia Community Manager shared that iOS 15 could take made some changes that makes Stadia unplayable on iOS devices, and too how to potentially ready the problem.
Basically, users will need to make some setting changes to Safari by going to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Experimental Features and disable "WebRTC Platform UDP Sockets". It is unclear if this will be a permanent fix or if it is only a temporary one, but it's looking like the latter every bit some users are reporting they're still having issues streaming games. Some are too reporting that they are seeing gray borders while playing games.
It is unclear what exactly the trouble might exist and if it is a bug within Safari or if Stadia needs to be updated to ensure compatibility with iOS 15, but for now if you practise run into problems, then this is a potential fix you can look into for at present.
